Tarotscopes for the Lunar Eclipse Full Moon in Capricorn

At 9:32 PM (Pacific time) there will be a Lunar Eclipse (visible from Europe, Africa, America, and Australia). For more on eclipses, read here.

The Full Moon on July 4 at 9:44 PM will be in the earthy and determined sign of Capricorn at 13° in the twelfth house of sorrows, loss, and the subconscious realm.

Deep sigh.

We have a lot going on. And it keeps going. And truthfully, I’m OK with that. Despite how chaotic things are, I feel that I am living in my purpose. I don’t know how I got lucky, but I’m appreciating it while I can.

This eclipse is a big deal. You may have big feels. You may be asked to transform and change big time. You may be asked to let go big time. I don’t know about you, but I’m ready to let go of white supremacy, the patriarchy, and capitalism as we know it.

Keep in mind, Mercury is Retrograde in Cancer right now. So if things seem confusing or tech glitches happen, stay patient. A little emotional? That’s OK, be tender to yourselves, bbys. Mars is in Aries and that’s a lot of motivation for taking action. Mars is the planet of action, and Aries is the sign of action. Be wary of action turning violent. On the actual day, the emotional Moon will square The Warrior Mars. Be wary of emotional outbursts. Seems contradicting to be told to stay patient and take action, huh? Well the world’s complex.

Jupiter and Pluto are hanging out again in Capricorn. With these two, it’s big and bad energy. Remember the movie Disney movie Hercules? It’s Zeus and Hades. It doesn’t mean you have to be fearful, but it’s a good time to buckle down and take it: the truth, the news, etc. whatever you need to find out and then work on it.

For today’s tarotscopes, I am using The Chinese Tarot deck to bring you a little bit of soul nourishment. May you find a little bit of hope, and a lot of self-resolve.

My recommendation: Read for your rising sign first, and then your sun sign. Find your rising sign at AstroTheme.com

I drew a card for the collective and asked: What does the Universe want us to know?

The Emperor

“Two spending dragons decorate the wall behind the Emperor, as symbols of strength and goodness. The five-clawed dragon was the emblem of imperial world.”

Here are the key words from the booklet: Worldly power. Confidence. Wealth. Stability. Authority. Indomitable spirit. War-making tendencies. Male influence.

There are lots of ways to interpret this card, but right now I feel drawn to the terms wealth, war-making tendencies and male influence. I believe right now, with the breakdown of capitalism in society as we know it due to coronavirus -- we are being asked to examine what wealth means to us. And once we imagine what wealth looks like the second question is: How can we attain that wealth? What would need to happen in order for your version of wealth to exist?

Secondly, Mars is in Aries through the rest of the year. So any war-making tendencies wouldn’t surprise me. Whether it’s war within yourself or your community or internationally… I wouldn’t discount it. However, I think it’s important we ask: What are we fighting for? With all the male influence around us and in this Martian/Aries energy, I think it’s important to balance it with a feminine influence and even a universal influence beyond the binary. A source, a presence beyond yin or yang. But encompasses us all. Space, maybe. Anyhow, I believe the patriarchy is breaking down and will die if we starve it. I think the Universe wants us to know that shit is going down, but that we can determine how we go about it as it goes down. Are you free-falling by yourself? Do you have a parachute? Etc.
